Odisha qualify for final round of Sub-junior Boys NFC

Host Odisha and fancied West Bengal qualified for the final round of the Sub-junior National Football Championship by emerging respective group toppers in the East Zone qualifying tournament, which was organised by Odisha Football Association here at Barabati Stadium from February 4 to 9.

Odisha won all three of their group matches, defeating Sikkim 6-0, Chhattisgarh 7-0 and Sports Authority of India (SAI) 1-0. Beekay Oram was most successful Odisha scorer with six goals to his name. On the other hand, West Bengal won two matches and drew one in their group.
